This A375UV air purifier thing really works. June 11, 2009 Reviewer: Fred from Texas   I have a wood floor and I was having to sweep constantly. This made me realize how much dust and dirt is in the air. So I bought an Alen A375 air purifier.  It has cut back on the dust and dirt and I have to sweep less.  I also get comments all the time on how clean the house smells. A375UV air purifier combats construction dust June 8, 2009 Reviewer: Awstn_Jenn from Cedar Park   This Alen A375UV air purifier is in my office and it has been a great help during our recent renovations. The A375UV air purifier has successfully controlled dust from the guys putting up drywall and sawing just down the hall plus the fumes from painting and cleaning were much more bearable with the air purifier on. A375UV - Excellent Unit at an Excellent Price June 7, 2009 Reviewer: Allie from Texas   My husband and I have the Alen A375UV air purifier in our living room and we run it on low fan speed at all times. Since using the unit I have noticed the need to dust less and our allergy systems have decreased.  It is super quiet and easy to operate. The Alen A375UV air purifier is an excellent unit. A375UV Air Purifier is a Great Filter June 5, 2009 Reviewer: R Smith from New Braunfels, TX   This A375UV air purifier is a great air filter. We got the air purifier for our baby daughters room when she was having some problems. She's been good since. We put the air filter in a room that we had been operating a Sharper Image model they pimp on TV commercials and the Alen immediately kicked on high and showed particulate on its indicator....even though the other air filter had been on continuously (highest setting) and properly maintained. The noise on auto...just leave it on setting 2 and it should be good from there. I have allergies that I get shots for (now) and have had no problem leaving the Alen air purifier on this low of a setting. Was this review helpful to you?

replacement filters are expensive...BUT... June 5, 2009 Reviewer: ivorycassiopeia   OK, so it costs a lot of money. They say you should replace the HEPA/Carbon A375 UV air filter every 6 months (for $49 each). That's a bit excessive. However, the air filter is pretty quiet at high speed (which I leave it on all day and all night long because my dust/dust mite allergies are THE WORST). I have one air purifier in my bedroom and one in my living room that run constantly on high speed. I have no idea whether the UV lights do anything or not, but I will try anything to help reduce my allergies. This air purifier is easy on the eyes and has a nice display, and it doesn't take up too much room. I also did research when I bought these (about 7 months ago) and they scored highly in air filter tests. If they were less expensive, I would definitely recommend them.
